INSURANCE and  PAYMENT OPTIONS EXPLAINED:

We know dental insurance, unlike Health Insurance, is extremely complex, hard to understand, and reimbursement usually depends on the specific procedures required. In most cases, dental insurance providers will require a pre-treatment plan in order to accurately inform the patient of their actual out-of-pocket expenses.

The Fredericksburg Smile Center will provide complimentary pre-treatment plans to all dental insurance providers, whether you are an existing patient or future patient.  Our experienced insurance claims staff will gladly help you navigate through the questions and concerns you may have.

What dental insurance plans do you accept?

The Fredericksburg Smile Center is currently an in-network participant with Guardian, Met Life, Delta Dental Premier and United Concordia.

What happens if I don’t have dental insurance?

We have a variety of payment options available for those without dental insurance. We have years of experience in making sure you can afford the dental health services your need. We also have the SmileCare Plan – a special discount plan especially for individuals or families without dental insurance.

What payment options do you provide?

Fredericksburg Smile Center offers a variety of convenient payment options, including interest-free financing through CitiHealth, Chase Health Advance, and Well Fargo.

We accept personal checks, debit cards, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

We offer a 10% courtesy discount (before insurance) to employees of Mary Washington Healthcare, Fredericksburg Academy, University of Mary Washington, GEICO, A-T Solutions and all active duty U.S Military families.  If you think your HR Department would like to participate, please contact us.

I have extensive dental care needs but I’m worried about how to pay for it, what are my options?

Your oral health is our number one concern.  For those individuals with extensive oral health needs we have a financial counselor who will help design an individual payment plan to fit your needs.
