Cathie H. Butterworth, DDS, FounderDr. Cathie H. Butterworth received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. She attended dental hygiene school at Old Dominion University and has been in private practice in Fredericksburg since 1985. She has extensive training and certification in all procedures of General Dentistry. In 2004 Dr. Butterworth was voted “Best Dentist” by Fredericksburg Guide Book and in 2006 she received the Commonwealth Council of Girl Scouts Woman of Distinction Award for Community Service. Dr. Butterworth is married to a “fishing fanatic” and has two boys, Joel (21) and Trent (18). The Butterworth’s are committed community advocates. |

Sean Kim, DDSDr. Kim is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2007. He is a recipient of the American Prosthodontic Society High Achievement Award. He received his B.S. In Laboratory Clinical Science from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Kim is trained in all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry and he is Invisalign certified. He is fluent in English, Korean and Spanish. An accomplished multi-sport athlete, Dr. Kim is also a former competitive Black Belt in Judo. He is married and has two dogs. |

Nancy Chang, DMDDr. Nancy Chang received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Georgetown University and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After obtaining her D.M.D, Dr. Chang continued with her training by completing an advanced general dentistry residency program at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. During her experience there, she treated medically compromised patients in a hospital setting gaining a wealth of knowledge treating complex restorative cases. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Chang also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, relaxing at the beach, doing yoga, and cooking. |

Shalini Sethi, DDSDr. Sethi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park. She then attended and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UMAB, where she received numerous recognitions for her technical and academic achievements including being selected to participate in a cleft lip/palate outreach program with Operation Smile in Vietnam and Dominican Republic. Dr.Sethi also completed a General Practice Residency at the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital and continued to do a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Periodontics program where she was trained in all aspects of periodontal surgery such as dental implants and oral cosmetic surgery. Additionally, Dr.Sethi has several interests that include, traveling, yoga/pilates, reading novels, and spending time with family and friends. |
