The 7th Annual Smiles With A Heart was on Friday, April 20th, 2012 at Fredericksburg Smile Center. On this special day, volunteer dentists, hygienists, and support staff helped to serve 144 patients with free dental care! Overall, $46,000 in care was provided including extractions, cleanings, periodontal work, and restorative procedures.
Since 2006, over $340,000 in free care has been provided for those who cannot afford it. The Rappahannock United Way works to notify area social service organizations so those truly in need can get free care.
We want to send a big “Thank You” for all of the dentists and support staff who worked so hard to help those in our community who are truly in need.
Smiles With A Heart is a special day of charity dental care held each year at Fredericksburg Smile Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Clinics, community and faith-based groups, and others are encouraged to nominate those needing care. Dentistry is provided at no charge for those truly in need.
Since 2006, Smiles With A Heart has provided $340,540 in free dental care!
