Dr. Cathie H. Butterworth received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia. She attended dental hygiene school at Old Dominion University and has been in private practice in Fredericksburg since 1985. In 2004 Dr. Cathie was voted "Best Dentist" by Fredericksburg Guide Book and in 2006 she received the Commonwealth Council of Girl Scouts Woman of Distinction Award for Community Service. Dr. Cathie is married to a "fishing fanatic" and has two boys, Joel (19) and Trent (16).
